Attitude of health care professionals regarding Euthanasia across the India

Background: Euthanasia is made up of two words i.e. eu, means “good” and thanatos “death,” which basically derived from Greek word early its signified a or “easy” death. defined as administering lethal agent by clinician to patient relieve him/her intolerable incurable suffering. Two types are practicing in India i.e., “active” “passive.” Active euthanasia deliberately work such way end patient's life. In Passive withholds withdraws all treatment necessary maintain life.Euthanasia Is still not that much used the India, studies were conducted evaluate attitude nurses towards India; hence, this study was know current India.Material Methods: Descriptive design, qualified registered working different hospitals teaching institutes over invited participate. The Attitude Scale (EAS) assess nurses’ euthanasia. Out 200 who fit criteria, 155 participated 91.1% (n=138) female 8.9% (n=17) male.Result: total, 57.4%, 3.2% 39.5% reported negative, neutral positive respectively. Nurses most negative domain ‘practical consideration’ ‘treasuring life’. Conclusion: majority found have attitudes We recommend future should be examine cultures countries world determine role culture religious beliefs well
